According to the filing, Buffett owns approximately 38.6% of the outstanding shares of Berkshire Hathaway’s Class A and Class B common stock, making him the largest shareholder by far.
Berkshire Hathaway’s Vice Chairman, Charlie Munger, is the second-largest shareholder with approximately 0.9% of the outstanding shares. Other significant shareholders include institutional investors and mutual funds, but none come close to the size of Buffett’s holdings.
