LAMBORGHINI DESIGN DNA
When stripped down to its bare essentials, Lamborghini’s design is characterized by exact proportions, distinct forms, clean lines, and pristine surfaces. The Lamborghini Centro Stile is guided by the principles embodied in this DNA to produce automobiles that are constantly distinctive, ever-innovative in terms of research and aesthetic language, and undeniably Lamborghini.
THE HEXAGON AND THE Y
Since the very beginning, Lamborghini design has been typified by the hexagon and the Y. The characteristic components of the House of Sant’Agata Bolognese give every detail a character that is simultaneously athletic and beautiful, from the interior of the Marzal to the front and back lights of the newest member of the family, the Sián.
DESIGN PROCESS
According to Mitja Borkert, Head of Design at the Lamborghini Centro Stile, “it is feasible to design a new Lamborghini with just a few beautiful and precise lines.”
To attain total perfection, the design process involves multiple iterations: from the drawing to the actual model, from the drawings to 3D renderings, scale models, and back to virtual reality.
