There are a few ways to know if AnyDesk is connected.
- Check the AnyDesk icon in your system tray. If the icon is green, AnyDesk is connected. If the icon is red, AnyDesk is not connected.
- Look for the AnyDesk process in your task manager. The AnyDesk process will be named “AnyDesk.exe”. If the process is running, AnyDesk is connected.
- Check your system logs. The Windows Event Viewer will show any remote connections that have been made to your computer.
If you are concerned that someone may be remotely accessing your computer without your permission, you can also check your AnyDesk settings. In the “Security” tab, you can see a list of all the devices that have access to your computer. If you see a device that you don’t recognize, you can revoke its access.

- On your computer, open the AnyDesk app.
- Look for the AnyDesk icon in your system tray.
- If the icon is green, AnyDesk is connected.
- If the icon is red, AnyDesk is not connected.
If you are still unsure whether or not AnyDesk is connected, you can check your system logs.
Here are the steps on how to check your system logs:
- On your computer, press Windows+R to open the Run dialog box.
- In the Run dialog box, type eventvwr and press Enter.
- In the Event Viewer, expand the Windows Logs folder.
- Select the Security log.
- Look for any events with the Source as AnyDesk.
If you see any events with the Source as AnyDesk, then AnyDesk is connected.
