John this are the general requirement for offering both MBA finance and accounting is all schools in Ghana

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

(a) Mater of Business Administration( Day & Evening)

Applicants must: (i) hold a bachelor's degree of at least second class (lower division) or its equivalent from a recognised institution in any relevant area; (ii) Possess a minimim of 2 years post first degree work experience; (iii) pass a selection interview/written examination to be conducted by the school

(b) Executive Master in Business Administration (EMBA)

Applicants must: (i) hold a bachelor's degree of at least second class (lower division) or its equivalent from a recognised institution in any relevant area; (ii) Possess a minimim of 5 years post first degree work experience in senior Management/leadership position; (iii) pass a selection interview/written examination to be conducted by the school

Some schools like LEGON BUSINESS SCHOOL require 3years working experience.

The key factor here is at least second class (lower division) or its equivalent from a recognised institution in any relevant area;

So the question then arises, is B.ed Accounting relevant to Business ? Is B.ed Accounting relevant to Finance ?

The answer to both question is YES!
So despite what anyone says, you can go ahead with your MBA as far as you meet the other requirements.

Amfree the question is;
Can a B.ED MANAGEMENT student pursue MBA in finance and accounting after graduation? I mean B.ED MANAGEMENT not b.ed accounting.
 I just found out that, in the sales of the admission forms by UCC for graduate applicants, under the DEPARTMENT OF ACCOUNTING AND FINANCE SECTION, the department stated that APPLICANTS OF MBA ACCOUNTING AND MBA FINANCE shoud have a degree in accounting or commerce  which was a specific reqirement.
 Please check it out here:   ucc.edu.gh/admissions/sale-application-admission-forms-graduate-degree-programmes-20142015-academic-year
  So do i stand a chance to apply as a B.ED MANAGEMENT graduate.
