to become an economist you need to be a fast minded person in your economic subject,elective maths,core maths,and be able to think more than normal person.think extra ordinary person

Theo, in order to become an economist according to KNUST you need to first get a Bachelors degree(BSc) (Lower Division) or better from a recognized tertiary institution in the following disciplines: BA/BSc. Economics, BA/BSc. Economics (with Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Geography, Law, Sociology, Political Science, and History); Bachelor of Business Administration, BSc. Mathematics/Statistics/Engineering /Physics/Actuarial Science/ Environmental Science/ Land Economy/Natural Resource Management; BA/BSc. Geography/Geography and Resource Development/Geography and Rural Development/Geography and Regional Planning; BSc./BA Development Studies; and related disciplines. Admission is subject to passing an interview then you get a Masters degree in economics and a PHD ultimately. You must be a person that likes research a lot. To know if you really want to just help your lecturers who are economists to perform their researches.
