In writing, the Ghana tax system is extremely fair and not biased towards a particular group of people or gender. The only unfairness in my opinion is the way the tax authorities go about collecting tax. Poor people generally are willing to pay more taxes than rich people because some parts of the law can be used to exempt oneself from paying taxes or the right amount of tax.

For example, Steve Jobs, the founder of Apple Inc use to pay himself one dollar. All other expenses were done in the name of Apple Inc. In this case, the only tax steve paid was on his income of one dollar which was far less than what he was to actually pay. This is how Company owners evade tax.
