Gideon, KNUST admission process is by two means that is both online and by post office. When you go post your admission forms they require you sign your name on a list which they keep. In addition they have an agreement with the university on how to deliver it. So if you send your admission letter on the last day by the post office it is sent by EMS which is early delivery and they don't delay. And there is no error unless the one who sent it to the post office did not follow the instruction on the application procedure.
