Takes a long time to boot, reseting the power led and the fan before it would turn on. once in a while it would turn on right a away. some times it won't turn on, unless you turn the power off and try again. the problem is before you see bios, so mostly i woulod get a black screen with led lights blinking or reseting; trying to start up i think, when you see the HP splash page ort bios then that is a gurantee it will boot up.

When the notebook is in windows not much problem, accept in hibernationm. it don't come back form it, i have to turn it off and then back on. can anyone help me, please.

I had a similar problem. You may want to attempt a hard reset on the unit first. This is simply remove power from the laptop. Remove the Battery. With all removed from the laptop...hold the power button down for one minute. Then release the power button. Plug in the battery first...then the power cord. Try powering the unit up again. This reset will not do anything but do a Hard reset on the machine. Sometimes static charge can build up on the motherboard...the PC will go into a sleep protection mode. This essentially wakes it up.

Not a software problem, neither because of 'evil windoze'. HP has accepted a critical hardware problem, you can find it here.. http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/genericDocument?lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&product=1842155&lang=en&docname=c01087277

There is no solution other than take it to the nearest service center. You may get lucky if you keep it on for a long time, so that the BIOS comes up!
