Keeping eggs in the fridge or out at room temperature has been an age old discussion as to which one was better. Now, according to research eggs which were potentially infected with salmonella was best kept at 4degree celcius in order to keep the salmonella from multiplying. However in places like Britain and certain countries in the European Union where the hens that lay the eggs are vaccinated against the salmonella and then stringent tests are carried out on the eggs for infections of salmonella with non tested eggs not released into the market. It was found after a research that either storing an egg at room temperature or refrigerating at 4degree celcius or below caused no difference to the eggs.
So in a place like Ghana where you cannot be sure then it is BEST TO STORE EGGS IN A REFRIGERATOR @ 4DEGREE CELCIUS OR LOWER.
