Edem in order to become a pharmacist you need a DEGREE in pharmacy(B. Pharm) and then pass the licensing exam of the Pharmacy council in Ghana. B. Pharm is awarded by KNUST and UG. these are their requirements

A’ LEVEL APPLICANTS
FIVE (5) credits at the O’ Level, including English Language and Mathematics, plus THREE (3) passes at the A’ Level in Biology, Chemistry and Physics or Mathematics. Applicants must also have a pass in General Paper.
Applicants must be at least 25 years at the time of submitting the application.
FIVE (5) credits at the O’ Level including English Language and Mathematics.
WASSCE/SSSCE credits in THREE (3) Core Subjects (English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science) plus THREE (3) Elective Subjects (Biology, Chemistry and Physics or Mathematics).
HND Holders of Dispensing Technology or equivalent with at least Three years post qualification experience are eligible to apply.
Applicants must also pass an interview

Admission to the School of Pharmacy
Further to the General Regulations regarding admission into the University of Ghana, admission to the School of Pharmacy for the B. Pharm Programme shall be direct into Level 100.
a) from the Senior Secondary School (using the SSS results) and must meet the following requirements:
passes in three subjects, namely, English, Mathematics and Integrated Science
additionally, candidates shall be required to pass core Social Studies at least at Grade E.
Passes in three Elective Subjects shall be required namely Biology, Chemistry and either Physics or Mathematics.
b) Other qualifications include International Baccalaureate (IB), International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), General Certificate of Education (GCSE), the American Grades 12 and 13 examinations and other external qualifications which have equivalencies to the Senior Secondary School Certificate of Education (SSSCE) and the General Certificate of Education (GCE).
