i like the answer above. here's my 2 cents. first of all, if you are waiting for love, you're waiting for it to come to you so i think you have to revise your question.
second, i learned this from a brillant friend. "love is like dog crap. if you're looking for it, you won't step in it. but if you don't look for it, you'll step right in it. it's true for me. it's about being patient, living your life, not actually forcing the issue. this leads to just being yourself and being more relaxed instead of trying to hard to be that special someone who is right for another. people need to see the real you and that only comes when you're not focused on finding love.
