KNUST Offer architecture, Central UNIVERSITY Offer architecture, and also Kumasi poly offer interior architecture. The cut off point is 9 for knust

This is the requirement for Central university
Admission into the programme is open to SSSCE/WASSCE or Polytechnic graduates with
any background; Science, Vocational, Visual Arts, Technical and General Arts.
Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE): 6 passes with aggregate 24 or
better and including 3 core subjects. English Language, Mathematics and Integrated
Science. All passes should be grade D or better.
West African Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE): 6 passes with
aggregate 36 or better and including 3 core subjects. English Language, Mathematics and
Integrated Science .All passes should be grade C6 or better.
Polytechnic Students: Passes in English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science or
any of the Elective Science subjects, in addition to 3 electives in the respective trades or
technical subjects.
Any application that comes without the above named qualifications will however be
evaluated on its own merits.
Applicants are to note that should the total number of qualified candidates exceed the
Department’s allotted vacancies, a selection interview will be conducted for shortlisted
candidates.

Entry Requirements for HND Programmes

a. ABCE/ 'O'&'A' LEVEL APPLICANTS
Five (5) GBCE credit passes or five (5) G.C.E. Ordinary Level credits including English Language and Mathematics plus at least two (2) G.C.E. 'A' Level/ABCE passes.

b. GBCE APPLICANTS
Five (5) GBCE credits including English, Business Mathematics and Integrated Science/ Social Studies.

c. SSSCE/WASSCE APPLICANTS
SSCE/WASSCE with credit in Core English, Mathematics and Integrated Science/Social Studies and two (2) relevant electives.

d. Technician Part II/III Certificate holders with four SSSCE/WASSCE credit including English Language and Mathematics.

e. DBS APPLICANTS.
Four (4) SSSCE/WASSCE Credits including English Language and Mathematics plus at least three DBS passes.

f. TECHNICAL SCHOOL APPLICANTS (CERTIFICATE II)
Passes in English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science plus any three (3) relevant trade courses.

g. MATURE APPLICANTS
Mature Candidates must be 25 years old, have at least two (2) years working experience and must pass a written examination and interview.
