A Technical Officer in nursing is another word for Medical Laboratory Technologist
This people are the people that work in the laboratory of hospitals and are very vital to the success of our health system. They are responsible for finding out the course of a persons illness by taking blood samples or urine or anybody part of a patient and examining it in the laboratory.

like nurses, they are posted to any health facilities right after they graduate. THEY ARE KNOWN AS THE DOCTOR'S RIGHT HAND MEN.

Their salary is not bad also. Just after graduation, they are paid between 800 to 1000ghc per month while nurses are also paid around the same range. Junior doctors also get between 1000 - 1300ghc after graduation.
