I had Math C6 English C6, Science C4 , Social B3 , Accounting B3 , BM B3 ,costing C5 , Econs C6. Please what are my chances of gaining admission to the university especially UG city campus fee paying.

BASIC ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Entry requirements for admission into programmes of study in the University of Ghana for students applying with WASSEC results include the following:

WASSCE:  Applicants should have credit passes in six (6) subjects with overall aggregate of 24 at the WASSCE

Three of the six subjects should be core subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science or Social Studies and three must be in relevant electives.

For purposes of admission, a credit pass in :

WASSCE means A1 – C6

FEE-PAYING APPLICANTS

Fee-paying facilities are available for candidates/applicants who are unable to meet the competitive cut-off points determined by the Joint Admissions Committee.

Applicants who wish to be considered may indicate when submitting their applications online. Such candidates shall be required to meet the minimum admission requirements.  Copies of last year’s cut-off points for the various programmes are available at the sale centres and the University’s website for applicants’ guidance.

Boateng, in your case, you don't meet the minimum University entry requirements, ie. an overall aggregate of 24.

Hence, I cannot assure you of admission.
